Kim Kardashian has one of the most talked-about butts in show business but is her booty bonafide? She likely had implants or other plastic surgery done on her infamous assets, doctors tell HollywoodLife.com.
Kim Kardashian shocked the world when she posted a very revealing Instagram picture of her post-baby body in a skimpy white swimsuit on Oct. 17. She looked undeniably amazing in the photo, but it has raised a lot of questions about the authenticity of her bodacious bod. Has Kim had work done after giving birth to baby North West? Experts weigh in and tell Hollywoodlife.com that the rumors could be true!
Kim Kardashian: Fake Butt? Did She Get Plastic Surgery?
While the jury is still out on whether Kims butt is the real deal, Dr. Neil Sadick, a clinical professor of dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College at Cornell University, says, Its hard to tell for sure, but its looks like some work was done.
Its very likely she may have had fillers injected, Dr. Sadick adds. There are also a number of body-tightening procedures and fat-melting technologies, such as Cellulaze, which is an internal technology, and Velashape, which is an external technology.
The Kardashian women do have excellent genes, so were not completely ruling out the possibility that Kims rear is natural and neither is Dr. Sadick.
Its difficult to lose that amount of weight but some can genetically, he says. Its not out of the question.
While it may not be out of the question, Dr. Steve Fallek, a New York City-based plastic surgeon, argues that its highly unlikely, saying:
Unless youre one of the blessed people and there arent a lot of them out there, and most of the ones Ive seen are Brazilian very few women look like this after pregnancy. Gravity and pregnancy take their toll, leading to stretch marks, saggy skin, cellulite and weight gain. No one has just weight gain in their buttocks, so it seems pretty likely shes had some work done. Implants, whether buttock or breast, dont change, but if there is sagging skin around them they may look different and may require a lift of the surrounding skin. Seventy pounds is a significant weight gain for a pregnancy. The chances that she looks like this just from losing the pregnancy weight are pretty slim.
Dr. Jennifer Walden, an Austin, Texas-based cosmetic plastic surgeon, says that while its possible Kim had a mommy makeover, in which the breasts and stomach are treated post-pregnancy, four months is quite early to have procedures done. Kanye probably wouldnt have let her, especially with the history his mother has had with similar procedures. (Kanyes mother, Donda West, sadly passed away due to liposuction and breast-reduction surgery complications.)
However, Dr. Walden adds that its likely Kim used alternative methods of plastic surgery. A lot of non-invasive modality fat reduction and skin tightening such as Venus Freeze dont require going under the knife or having downtime after surgery.
Kims rep tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Kim has not had any plastic surgery on her butt.
